Rachel-Stevens.net was thought of since summer 2005. Although the title wasn't thought of back then, a Rachel Stevens fansite was something I had wanted to make for a long time. I made a number of test sites with test names; So Rachel and Rachel Stevens Heaven were some that were made but never opened. They were very basic sites and I didn't put much effort into them.

In December 2005, I decided to try a Rachel site again. It took me ages to come up with a great title. I went through so many different titles until I came across 'Zone'. I had information already made and typed up from the previous sites I had made so all I really had to worry about was the design. The design took a while to get into shape but it turned out perfect in the end. There was a good bit of information from the previous sites but I decided to add more to make it a better site. The lyrics section took the longest to make as there were so many songs to put into the coding. After about a week of work on the site, it was ready for opening.

Rachel Stevens Zone officially opened on December 16th 2005. It was brilliant because it started off very well with a lot of hits coming in every day. I knew then that The Zone was going to be the site I was most proud of and most sucessful with so in mid-January 2006, I bought the domain name www.rachelstevenszone.com.

As the months went on Rachel Stevens Zone was doing extremely well and I wanted to improve it more. Kyle (Rachel Stevens Central) and myself decided to make a joint forum for the Rachel Stevens fans. It started out hosted on Rachel Stevens Central and was just shared between our two sites. It opened officially when Rachel Stevens Central relaunched. After working on the forum, i learnt some basic php and encoded it into a new design on the site but my host didn't support it so Chris (S Club 8trix) hosted the site for a few weeks before I bought my own proper host. Once I had the host, the site improved even more by getting so many extra features put into each new design.

Almost every design was better than the last and I got more experienced each time. Also the forum was moved onto Rachel Stevens Zone's new host to fix all the errors. By then we had 5 sites in total all linking to the HQ forum; Rachel Stevens Zone, Rachel Stevens Central, Rachel Stevens Source, RS8trix and Lovely Rachel. As there were so many Rachel fansites involved, members joined up surprisingly fast.

In June 2006, I finally made what I had promised to the visitors since the site opened; an interactive image gallery. It contained some of Rachel's best photoshoots and was updated regularly with new images. Just after the opening of the gallery a co-admin joined the site. Chris (RS8trix) asked to join Rachel Stevens Zone as he didn't have the time to do RS8trix on his own.

In July 2006, the gallery closed but only to move on to an even another project; Rachel Stevens Pictures. Like Rachel Stevens HQ the forum, the new gallery was shared between 4 sites; Rachel Stevens Zone, Sexy Stevens, Rachel Stevens Central and Lovely Rachel. Sexy Stevens also joined Rachel Stevens HQ just before the gallery opened.

In November 2006 Rachel Stevens Zone closed down due to lack of time to run the site. Then in February 2007 I started working on the site again and the site re-opened under the new address and name R-Stevens.net on February 27th 2007 before extending the name to Rachel-Stevens.net in April 2008. Since then the site became just as big as it was before. Just after re-opening R-Stevens.net joined the Rachel Stevens Boards and Rachel Stevens Photos again. As of July 2007 we left both the boards and the gallery due to complications. Rachel-Stevens.net then set up it's own gallery and it's now one of the main resources for Rachel Stevens images. We also set up RS Radio which gives fans and non-fans the chance to listen to Rachel's music here at Rachel-Stevens.net.

Rachel-Stevens.net is currently one of the biggest Rachel Stevens fansites on the internet although I never set out for it to be that way. The aim of Rachel-Stevens.net was and still is to give the fans what they want and somewhere to read and discuss news amongst other fans. It has now reached just over 140,000 hits in April 2008 after over 2 years of being online.

New designs are added to the site frequently along with media such as photos, music and interactivity but also gives visitors the latest news almost the second it happens.
